Have you been right through the spartan setup and set your endpoints? Also are you mounted at 90 degrees in normal rate mode?

As Lee says go into the setup mode and adjust your endpoints on the gyro, You can adjust its travel each way via the setup.

Your not supposed to connect the servo till you've told the gyro the correct frame rate. Have you done this?
Do you get equal movement when you plug the servo direct into the RX?

Yes. Read the booklet Dan. It's not too tricky to set up.

                      No flash link needed.

                      Three hands would help though..

Up your gear end points to 90% each, Its helps accessing the setup.

Turn your TX on--->Toggle the gear switch on the TX when connecting the power to the gyro----->The gyro should go into setup mode.

1st step = Hold rudder stick to the left and toggle the gear switch once

2nd step = You are now setting the end points, Hold your rudder stick one way or the other and you will see the tail pitch slider moving each way. Make sure it doesnt bind when you then toggle the gear switch once again

3rd step as step 2. Set the end point in the opposite direction, When perfect toggle the gear switch for the last time.

                      Job done.

But setup the correct pulse for your servo first as ChuggaBug said.
