spartan not working?????

please help,, last night i removed the spartan gyro from my t-rex500 (was working fine last time i flew) and put it onto my atom, today i decide to do the SET-UP so power on the ar7000 fine BUTno GYRO?? i get a blue light flash twice then NOTHING??? i reconected it the origional ar7000 in the 500 but it still does the same thing, if i flick from heading to rate i get the same two blue flashes then NOTHING?? CAN ANY ONE HELP,,

It's not the old hold left rudder at power on thing is it?

Is it on current firmware?

What gain percentage in the TX did u bind with? I binded with 20% gain so the gyro doesnt connect before the RX. Then i put the gain back up and cycle both powers. Binding at 20% will give u a flashing light i think. Have you done that and forgot to put it back up or something?

Contact Angelos he'll advise ya right away. Have you got the spartan usb lead? Try flashing the latest firmware... again even if you have it.

do you have the USB lead? if so can you flash it to the latest firmware and let me know?

also check to make sure the wires have not been chaffed on the frames anywhere since it was on a small heli before.

oh, forgot something. if you do the setup does everything work as it should? can you get the gyro into setup mode?

I had a similar problem when I swapped my spartan onto another heli, I couldn't get the servo to move, it turned out I had the wrong servo type selected, have your checked you have it on the right one?

What are your endpoints set to on your Tx - rudder channel and gain channel?
