    Is this a 1520uSec or a 760uSec servo ?

DS760 docs says 1520, and DS760 in HH/AVCS mode works at 1520, but it doesn't seem right. (eg Travel adjust on DS760 doesn't seem right.)

Connected straight to AR6100, travel seems very restricted, and part of the stick range is non-functional. It all happens up teh other end.

It's dawned on me that this might be what you'd see if it was actually a 760uSec servo (?)

I reckon it must be a 1520 becuase no vendor is saying only use it with a matched gyro.
The 2100T it comes packaged with is only a 410 like gyro that doesn't support the BL251/8256 type 720 servos.

I'm pretty sure that last time I checked the 2100T supported three modes: analogue, digital (fast frame rate) and dedicated (short frame). Certainly my servo objected strongly to the latter.

It does seem to support the LTS-6100G ( http://www.heliguy.com/i/LTG-2100T.pdf ), possibly via a special mode, which I believe is a 760usec servo (from DS760 docs.)

AIUI, the dedicated mode is for an LTS-6100G, which is (AIUI) 760usec.

And your LTS-3100G objected to that mode, so it doesn't seem to be a 760usec servo.

          Interesting.

I've set the DS760 to tell it it's connected to a LTS-6100G (760usec, 333Hz), and it seems to behave.

Most tellingly, in rate mode, the rudder stick behaves like it should. ie all the stick travel has an effect, and the servo end points can be set as expected.

            Strange...

Ah, sorry, that was just some random digital servo (Futaba S3153 IIRC), not the dedicated one!

                760usec

                http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/logi...vo-p-3765.html

"This is a narrow pulse servo so will only work with a gyro that will accept narrow pulse rates."

So I guess that makes it a 760usec servo, and the DS760 docs & config utility got that bit wrong.
