Servo gears. Which is strongest.??

Bought a Rave 3D this week and it says it recommends metal gears for the cyclic.

I have three Hitec HS-65HB Karbonite gears here new in the box.

Obviously they are stronger than the plastic offerings but would they suffice in this heli.

I was running karbonite geared hitecs on a nitro heli of mine Tim ... Had 4 crashes and the gears survived every time on it ... ... As for the Rave aint got a clue m8e ...

It's what most people used to use on the T-rex before the MG's came available.

Use them and replace the gear sets with MG's when and if IT happens

Lkke he said, use the HB servos. Buy 3 sets of MG gears and put them in your spares box. Replace them as you crash. I ran a mix of HB and MG as I fixed the servos and there were no problems with them running different speeds.
Some pilots flying hard 3D with very high head speeds claim they managed to break the HB gears in the air. Though it would be hard to tell what went first after the crash that followed. My HB gears only broke with the ground involved.
