Spartan wiring marks?

Just wonder if anyone has seen this or know what this could be from? Both my DS760's have a weird browny mark on the wiring about 30-40mm down from the gyro itself, it almost looks like the outer wire has been burnt (but its not), unfortunately this mark doesn't show very well on the photo but I hope you can see what I'm talking about. The gyro on the left is from my 450 and the mark is only on the side you can see in the photo, the one on the right (fitted to my 600n) has the mark on both sides of the wires.

I have checked with other guys at the field and none of their spartans have these marks. Both gyro's still work perfectly but I just think these marks are weird and I think I would of noticed it if they was there from new, also neither gyro has been fitted to the other heli, so both different setups.

perfectly normal, all 5 of mine have that and the other ones at your club depending on age will do the same. the problem was a sticker at manufacture leaving residue. when this was noticed the sticker was removed from production so newer gyros won't do this.

it won't have any effect and you can continue to use.

Cheers Paul, I just wanted some reassurance that the gyro's were ok, the gyro on my 600n was the first one at our club and one of the earlier ones.
