Align DS520

Anyone using these? fitting 3 to the cyclic of my trex500 today, they look pretty good to me, good size leads too unlike the 9650 that needs extensions and the hitec that are far too long!

Align heli, Align servos. It would make sense for them to get the dimensions correct, unlike the other two who have no idea where their servos are going to end up.

I've been waiting for reports on these servos from one of the better pilots.
On paper they look great and the price is fantastic.
Only thing is they've got the Align label on them.

Well thanx to Ross@ fastlad today double checking my heli before flying, i saved a crash after setting two servos on the wrong Rx plugs!

Anyway, i hovered, and that was about it as ive a totally different stick setup now so learning the pitch control again.

Seems extremely light and lively, defo a good feeling servo to me, possibly better then the 9650s i took off, although maybe due to a proper setup, thanks to kev and Lee!

will defo keep you posted how they go, as soon as i crash ill get a damage report

This was a two year old thread but hopefully peeps from it still around!

How did you get on in the end with the 520s on cyclic? I bought 3 yesterday from Skyline for cyclic on my new 500 and wanted to ask if you have any watch-outs.
