Remember the 611 comes with a high speed tail servo so don't think of the spartan as cheap and the 611 as expensive.Originally posted by stevo View Posthi guys well some of you may have seen my posts and i have just got a new heli, well second hand but new to me, it has a gy 611 gyro, now i know these are expensive but are they any good compared to say a spartan at half the cost
But there good solid gyros and only top 3D flyers will really notice where there not holding or not giving what the pilot wants as you cannot shove a computer up its A@se and re-program it like the Spartan or CSM Gyros.
nothing wrong with a futaba 611 gyro

i beleive rob was using a 611 nothing wrong there only when you get to advanced 3D you notice the difference between the top end gyros

It wasn't that long ago that the 601/611 was probably the best gyro on the market and it's still better than most flyers
