spartan 760 rudder servo steps?

I've just been looking at a heli with a spartan 760 and BLS251.
when you move the rudder stick the servo moves in little jerks.
It does the same with a 8900 (ech tme he gyro is being set to match the servo requirements).
The 451 doesn't do it on a csm720.
So is there something about the 760 that means it moves the rudder servo in little steps?

Just a thaught you have switched to rate mode... My spartan and 251 dont do that...

my spartan and 8900g does that thought it was me but it works fine in action

mine does it on the TRex 600 NSP with a 9254. Works a treat though.

must be a spartan thing then, do you have the latest firmware installed as mine seemed to do it after i installed that. Did not affect performance tho at all

My BLS251 does the same with mySpartan gyro, latest firmware. Works perfectly in flight so not a problem.

not sure about my firmware version as i havent got the lead. Planning on purchasing one with my next spartan 760.

Is there not a way to check your firmware without using a cable?
Your cool mate, ill be purchasing another 760 very very soon so wont have to wait long. I need one for my knight 3D as i sold the Solid G and G view to Nathan (Heliward0)

yea and my mind boggles why too?? fantastic gyro!! test flew this evening on my 600e and well happy thanks mate.

Just didnt like the feel of it mate, theres no default settings for Knight 3D on it. Fiddled but just couldnt get a setting i liked. Its blatantly a JR in disguise. Are you using expo on the rudder with it?

yip, nearly shat myself the first time i piro'd it. Fastest piro rate ive ever seen lol
Hopefully ill get a chance to fling the 500 around tomorrow. Weathers been crap her the last few days.

yeh man cant wait, hovered it on the front and its mega smooth. Seems to have loads of power. James has built it very well. Re-routed a few wires to hide them and thats about all ive done to it. He had already given me his DX7 settings so its all ready to go really.
