    Hi,
Just a quick question regarding throttle servo end points. Do I connect the throttle servo directly to the RX, to set the end pionts and travel direction then plug it into the Gov?

As it is now, connected up to the Gov , the throttle servo not set up does not move at all.

You need to connect the display and run through the setup on that, then the throttle servo will move. In essence it is setting the extents of movement through the gov.

Ok, I;m runnibg a DX7 and will be using Aux 2 for the gov or Overspeed. Do I need to bring the end points down in the Aux 2 channel? At the moment, the speed on the screen does not change when I toggle the switch, will this that work??

      Yhanks Arwel.

erm, I have a beer blockage so best I try and look again at this in the morning

fwiw, I just connected up the AUX2 and THRO channels and when I switched flight modes on my DX7 it just switched between each flight mode on the gov. No mixes needed, so in essence I think it takes low, middle and high from AUX2 to work out where it should be. I just set the gov RPM to be what I wanted on the display. This is a Multigov PRO, it may be different on others. I think I set normal to gov off and then 1750 and 1950 to idle 1 & 2.

Check what you AUX 1 & 2 is set to in your power off and back on menu (if you know what I mean - the one ou select models from). You might need to set AUX2 to fmod, I'll check tomorrow if you get stuck.
        Hope that helps

I have tried to set the idle and high, but all that comes up is 'bad endpoints', also the throttle servos does not work All I have done so far is fit the sensor and plugged it all together.

As a safety measure, the throttle servo will not work during powerup unless you have programmed the endpoints correctly using the "SET IDLE, HIGH" procedure.

Program your endpoints (press the button only momentarily during SET IDLE -- throttle position at motor idle/running on bench and it will then change to SET HIGH. Move your stick to full throttle and then press +VALUE again to save). If you get "BAD ENDPOINTS", that means you pressed too long or there was no significant difference in both endpoints.

After you have programmed your endpoints, your throttle servo should move if you turn off and then back on.

Ok, but when I have it n the 'Set Idle' screen it has a value of 0 on Idle and High? Sorry, I'm new to doing this on my own

Set your tx to normal mode, make sure your throttle curve is 0% to 100% straight line.

Connect the display to the multi gov and power on. Enter the menu and scroll till you get to SET IDLE/SET HIGH.

Put you throttle stick to 0% and press the +VALUE on the multigov display once.
Put you throttle stick to 100% and press the +VALUE on the multigov display once.
After a couple of seconds, power off the heli.

This should set the low and high throttle end points on the multi gov, if you change your radio endpoints ( say for the engine idle or throttle cut) you will need to repeat this to teach the gov the new end points.

If you get BAD ENDPOINTS on the display, make sure your just press the +VALUE button once per end of the throttle.

If you power on the heli now you should be able to move the throttle servo.

If there is no movement - check your connections for the throttle, servo etc at both the multigov end and the receiver. I managed to connect the servo to the wrong connector in teh multigov the first time round!

If you are getting 0 on high and low, I think you might have the connections to the radio wrong ? The first connector should go to the throttle channel, the second should go to your AUX2 channel on your receiver.

This pic shows the throttle connected.

I don't have that one, mine is a circuit board with a yellow lable on it.

Is it a Multigov Pro? (the one with the additional mixture control)
