    Howdie,

Can anyone who is using these servos let me know how they are getting on with them?

I am looking to get something a little better than the 3050's i am currently running and these are looking the best within my price range. Not easy to come by in the UK, but able to get from the US if they are any good.

If you use them or know about them i would like to hear your comments.

    Rgds

Hi Aidi, I am also using the 3050's on the cyclic on my 600e and really like them but!!!!!

If I were to upgrade I would go the whole hog and buy the JR 8915's mate.

They are definately on a different level for torque and speed.

Bought some for the 700 and believe me mate they are awesome.. Expensive but awesome..

Looking at the spec of the S9452 it looks like a 6volt version of the 9252. The spec looks very good and at $85 from the likes of RedyHeli it looks to be very good. I think the 8915 is the 8717 in the states at $110 also from ReadyHeli.

Somehow i knew someone would say that!! Pete from our club has said exactly the same! I know the 8915's are ballastic on his 600's and the need for a future upgrade is pretty much out of the window.

I think i am kidding myself by saving a bit of money in the short term and knowing it would have been better spent on the JR servos.

Are you running your 8915's on the Align 2 in 1? All the specs say its only 4.8, but most seem to be running at 6v and even upto 8v

        Thanks for your comments mate

I wish you lived closer mate, You could gladly take the 700 out and see for yourself just how good they are..

The difference between the 3050's in the 600e and the 8915's in the 700 is night and day..

Thanks for the offer mate. Used to be in Harrogate (88-90 up at Penny Pot!!)

I have seen Pete (Trex-Pedro) flying his 600 with the 8915's in it and its like a rocket! Since getting the 600 and putting the 3050's in it i have neglected my Raptor 50 :-( Ill put the 3050's into it, bump it upto 6v.

I've got a set of 8915s I picked up from Shinobiwan ready to go into the 700 when it finally gets here.
Although the 9252s are quick as well (just not quite up to the JRs though).
                        Can't comment on the 9452.

another vote for 8915/8717's if your upgrading might aswell do it properly. ive just ordered a set of 3 8717 £200 plus postage which was a tenner from hk. icant see any reason why if your after better servos that you dont go that bit extra.
