  • Which Gyro to buy

    Just brought a Honey Bee King 2 and was wandering which gyro is should get to upgrade it.

    I have a 2.4ghz standard esky radio system if that makes any difference, ive been looking at the following a Esky Head Lock Gyro EK2-0704A is it any good any other suggestions not to expensive

    For normal flying ya cant beat a 401 ...and its pretty cheap @ bout £100 ... plus the gyro will transfer to another heli if you so desire ....Or have a look on ebay or the BMFA website ... might get ya one cheaper

      the 401 is the best option but if you cant stretch to that then buzzflyer do one that performs pretty well.

      stick a futaba 3153 servo on it and you have a nice little combo

        I have a 401 for sale if anyone is interested. Only looking for fifty pounds and that includes postage to your door.

          Now £50 for a 401 posted is a deal there is your answer !!! 401 you cannot beat it on small models really is hte nuts on 450 sized models !!

              The stock ESky radio (35MHz, at least) doesn't have any way of configuring the remote gain control. This limits you to those gyros configured manually, for example, the Esky, the Align and the Futaba 240.

                    i wouldnt go that far... its certainly the best value for sports flying but the spartan kicks it squarly in the nuts but its a fair bit more money.
