You say rather late but the only other unit compatible with iOS is the gpro, which hasn't sold well for a reason, plus their dongle was hard to get a hold of.
Soo this could be the first "decent" iOS option on the market?
The majority I've seen at fields have an iPhone in their pocket and a windows laptop in the motor, poor Tony (sesame) Street spends most of his flying time setting up and tuning vbars for everyone else as they know he has a laptop.
ive stuck with my msh brains because they setup easily, have every function I need included in the price , no issues with vibes unless something needed servicing and the ice blue crius units let me tune when I want so I'm quite pleased that for £40 odd, I don't have to carry a crappy android phone around anymore.
Yes it's late to the hobby but not too late to start a trend with iOS users that have asked for this to be manufactured for years.

Well I think it brilliant, looking at the pictures, it's the same software as the computer program, so easily set up. I'll be interested to see if Coolice can supply the Bluetooth link for it?? Ian can you tell us if you are going to be doing them??? Only thing that's not so good, is running brains on all your fleet, can work out quite expensive, I'll need 3 straight off the bat, so we need Ian to make some.
Align trex 700x brain 2 BT
SAB Goblin 700 KSE Brain 2 BT
          Trex 600 ESP brain 2
and one helicopter mad son, who drives me bonkers wanting to watch, fly and go to the field

Spektrum DX9.......and you can say what you like to the EX Mrs, we split up, so she can #%$€ her self!!!

Looking at the size needed the get it to connect with iOS I would say one is enough so mine will be living in the tx case and all my helis will have an easily accessible plug, just like the Spartan guys do.
You say it can work out expensive but imagine running vbars all on pro ;-)
id be interested to hear if Ian could crack the iOS code and get some units up for sale.

surely the point of having this plugged in all the time, is to save having to mess about with plugs etc, leave it on the Heli and just use your phone?? Just my opinion, but that's the whole point having a module is that you don't have keep plugging leads in ???

I was going to order one from msh but I'll wait if you think you can do it Ian.
how long do you reckon, weeks or months?
i wonder if you could write some fancy protocol that iOS would understand so we could just get you to flash our old units ;-)

This is true with the crius units which were tiny and relatively cheap but spending near £350 on bluetooth modules and software I could never justify :-(

                      Hey buddy.

A little over 4 weeks max I'd say. Have just got to wait on some modules, program, then make up a lead and send out for someone to try as don't have a Brain/Ikon handy to try things myself in the workshop.
