  • Servos for a Mostro what do I use ??

    Hi Ive just finished building a mostro nitro ! I am now looking for servos for it ?
    I dont want to go HV Im looking for 6v servos ?
    I was thinking of Savox can anybody tell me the ones to go for ?
    or what other makes you can recommend ??

    mate check knifedge he had new jr hv three for 250, these have only been used about ten to fifteen times they are a steal
    its full of meaty goodness

      I'd go with either Futaba or MKS, good quality good performance! Saying that if you are on a budget there is nothing wrong with the offerings from Align or Savox.

      I've used Align, Spektrum, Futaba, MKS and JR and have never had a problem with any of them.

        Just check the prices of gear sets some are half the price of a servo,, The early mostros needed a mod to use JR servos as the cases are slightly different, The later helis had adjustable mounts.

                    using these on mine RJX HV Standard Servo (20Wx40LX37H) FS0521HV
                    cracking servo for the money!
                    im using these at 6v and they feel plenty strong enough.
                    youll need to use two of the carbon spacers with these servos.
                    Save alot of messing around and order a set of these Welcome to SECRAFT
                    They seem to be the only servo horns that will fit the mostro properly.

                    oh and your gonna love the nitro, its even better than the E!

                          Got to be crackers going 6v when you can so easily go HV...someone was selling new Futaba 272HV in the for sale section £200 a bargain...go nice with that heli of yours...
