Stripped it down this eve and checked it all over. Changed the beastx and the tape, blades and shaft. I think it's the servos can't keep up with the gyro because I have got it to hover ok in none idle up but when I put it in idle up 1 it is still ok for prob 5 to 10 seconds then the nose starts nodding slowly and then gets faster until I switch idle off then it's ok again.

Brian what headspeed is it in idle up. Tell us the pinion size and the Kv of the motor and what your throttle is set to.

Hi, I am building my other trex 250 dfc with a beastx. I am on G adjusting the swashplate servo centering. When I do the tail stick each servo twitches as they should but when I do the leveling stick there is no movement.

By "levelling stick" - you mean elevator to move each servo? Perhaps check your TX monitor screen to make sure you don't have a TX problem.

Finally sorted it. All programmed now. All I need to do is program the esc on the 250 dfc what is the best setting?

Are you talking about throttle curves?, start off with a 70 flat line an move it up if you get a head nod

I have checked all my settings again and when I am I menu G swash plate servo centering i get every thing level on the servos one by one by moving the rudder stick. Then when I move the rudder again to come out of each servo the aileron servo arm drops down lower than all the others. Then when I go to menu J teaching the cyclic I am getting a red light at 6deg and a blue at 6.4 deg one way and the other is way out 6 deg I purple 7deg is red and 8.3 is blue. What's going wrong I keep giog back to menu G and I can't seem to sort it.

Is there a reason I need to get 6deg on this stupid thing!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that's why it's in the instructions The six degrees lets the unit know what the cyclic geometry is on your setup. If you have ideal geometry for the BeastX programming then the LED will light blue, but if it you get red or purple then it'll still fly okay it's just not optimum

It'll be fine, go with it. I've known the Beast fly fine with the control loops in the red

Had it hovering tonight all seems ok at the mo a bit of side movement on the tail when it's hovering hopefully that's just the gain. Not tried the idle up yet.

Well I have tried the new 250 dfc in none idle up and idle up and it flys spot on!!!!! Much better than my old 250 se I fitted a beastx to first. Hovers in one spot for about 15 seconds with no sticks. All ports on the beastx are set on the standard settings in the middle. No tail wag really pleased with it. The 410 servos on the se must just be to slow to keep up with the beastx on the se I had to move the cyclic gain down on the heli to stop the wobbling but the the stick feels a bit vague it's No where near as good as the dfc. I would like to thank everyone on here that helped me out thanks. Now I can move on to the 450 dominator build thatwill be easy now I know what I am doing.
