  • Which HV servos for 800? HELP

I was running some Align 615's & 655 LV servos and these are playing up and due to me having 2 LiFe packs I want to run HV to keep my LiFe batteries but eliminate the need for a BEC. I'm no 3D pilot so dont need super strength or speed though I know nothing about torque & heli size requirements. A combo set is preferable.

1st up these MKS but I think these may not be poweful enough and they are smaller than most standard. Are these OK or too small for 800?

2nd These JR wide band ......though Savox & Jr & Align are all made by Savox? And due to one Align set playing up I'm not brand loyal.

3rd These Outrage again I'm unsure if these are powerful enough

    4th These RJX

    5th These BK's

Feel sick having to spend £300 on servos to get HV and anything under would be nice. Which of these or any other recommendations welcome

    Thanks.

The MKS you've linked to are Mini servos, so they're out.
The JRs look borderline strong enough for a 700 if you run them on 2S lipo. I'd want about 10Kg.cm on a 700, so more on an 800.

BKs or RJX should do nicely. Plenty of torque, plenty of speed. I'd go for the BK personally, as they're basically the RJX with some minor tweaks and may have better after sales support than the RJX.

PS: The next servos I buy will be the new(ish) Align BL815s which are about £90 each if you buy 3 from Align-trex, so just something to consider.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

      A couple of suggestions:

I have the RJX in my 7HV and they are great, you gan get them for £55 each at hobbyking: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...05sec_68g.html

Alternatively you could try the KST HV brushless servos which work out about £35 each from Gartt. i'm using these in a 600 and they are working great so far: Aliexpress.com : Buy Freeshipping 5PCS/LOT FS FlySky FS T6 / FS T6 2.4G 6 Channels Receiver from Reliable t6 suppliers on GARTT -RC factory OUTLET

I have those RJX servos in a Minicopter Triabolo and they work really well. I ran them at first directly off a 2 cell LiPo and then later changed over to a BEC at 5.6 volts and they work great in both setups.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I was about to set off down the RJX/BK purchase when I secured a new set of futaba HV servos from a forum member.

I will use some of the links to those shops I'd never come across before for future purchases. Good finds!

            Thanks again
