Tail servo for a 500

Hi folks,

Just had the DS520 die on me mid flight. It's been fine with my sport style but it's only about a year old. Before I just get another Align jobbie, what other makes such as Futaba or Hitec got in this spec and price bracket? Running on 5.25v at the mo.

Marty if the gears are still good I have a ds520 here with good motor you can have just need to swap the gears

That's very handsome of you mate.

The gears are fine, it just went weak in one direction and then stopped altogether on the bench when I got back home. You might not still have my addy from sending the GP750 (working a charm on the Vario) so I'll pm you with it. Let me know what I can send by paypal.

I received your stripped servo yesterday, salvaged the good bits and am happy to report that the 500 (B cert training weapon) is back in the game.
