alternative servo

Hi.I have a Century UK Razor 500 that needs a replacement cyclic servo.I realise I will need to replace all three servos and was wondering if anyone knows of an alternate servo to the stock one.There is no identification on the stock servo and all I can find is it is a 26g servo.

Hey buddy.

As it's a 500 class model I'd look at the same servos the Align Trex 500 uses, these are the DS510/515 for cyclic and DS520/525 for tail. Check their dimensions, but off the top of my head I think they'll fit nicely. The equivalent to these are the Savox, they should have some with the same specs and dimensions but I do not know their code numbers.

I guess the obvious choice would be a set of DS515 Combo Deal 3 x DS515M Digital Servo

If that's a bit spendy you might consider 3 Turnigy MG930 for less than half the price. I've had them on my 500 for the last few years, in FB and FBL and they perform well with no failures. Turnigy MG930 Digital Metal Gear Servo 3.6kg / 26g / 0.14sec (UK Warehouse)
