I have a Trex 500, it was running a scorpion 3026-1600kva motor with a scorpion commander 70 sbec 26v.
It seemed a bit sluggish, so I reset the high/lower throttle & programmed the gov to medium.
The power was superb, only pumped the pitch a few times but it took of like a rocket, but it did't last too long....
I was flicking between normal/st1/st2 (75/75/90% throttle) and you could notice the difference which you could not see before.
Was in st2 when all power was lost, even though I had no control I hit throttle hold, it hit the ground, landing in dry grass that had been cut this week, as I was walking over to it it caught fire. So there's me swing a 500 about by its tail & wacking it against the floor, the canopy broke off, I disconnected the lipo & put fire out.
After all of this the only damage was a fried esc, burnt main/auto gears, smashed canopy & broken skids.
Could esc frying be caused by jumping from st1 to st2??
