V Link USB programmer - unable to install VLink drivers - error message.

I have just bought a new HK4525 520Kv Ultimate motor and Commander V 160A SBEC ESC to try out but am having problems getting the V Link programmer setup to work on either of my two Windows XP machines.

I can install the initial USB driver without a problem every time but when it comes to the VLink controller driver I get a 'VLink System32.exe is not a valid Win32 application' error message appear.Without this installed the ESC is not recognised when powered up.
This is exactally the same issue on both computers.

I've uploaded a video clip earlier to show the problem - sorry about the quality.

This could very well be just a problem with Windows XP but I can't confirm this as I do not have any other PC'c to try it on.
Everything has been installed and reinstalled several times without any difference made.

Anyone had this or any idea what's causing it?

Yeah I did go search for any possible reasons a couple of days OK.
Suspected the downloads could be corrupted but downloaded several times on both machines with the same results - exactally.

IDE controller settings are as recommended.
File checking looks OK.
Nothing obvious for both computers.
