    I see!
Looks like you will have to remove the pinion every-time then. not had a faifa so not sure how easy it is to remove?

Or install a motor that doesnt run hot enough to cook breakfast on, All my scorp's run silly hot!. no doubt why they recomend oiling the bearing's, every 700rpm. LOL.

I just looked at all of mine, and cant see a sensible way to drill whereas the hole size would be large enough to not block with debris.

Maybe a slot along the front face of the can, between the motor mount. enabling to try and flood some oil in that way, but i suspect that would block up aswell.

Other than ceramics (ive never tried them), youre a little buggered!!

    Hmmmm!!!

Yeah it's just one thing Mr Kasama didn't plan ahead for when designing the motor mount. The easiest way to get to it is to unbolt the upper pinion support and then loosen the pinion so it can be raised up a bit to get the oiling needle under it. But that's a bit of a hassle and I tend to think it's not ideal re-tightening the grub screw over and over. I think a permanent fix (besides changing to a different motor) is an oiling hole drilled through the motor mount, there's a spot accessible between the frames where I think a small hole could be drilled that would put it right over the bearing.

Or, I suppose a bit of a slot could be ground in the edge on the bottom of the pinion just big enough to let the needle through but you'd still not be very precise about where the oil was going.
