  • Commander ESC and separate Voltage reg

Ive got a Scorpion Commander esc on the way for the Giblet and have yet another daft arse question. If im running a seperate power supply to the servos do I need to disconnect the positive and negative from the BEC wire and just use the signal to control the ESC??

Or is there an option to turn the BEC off in the ESC??
