The recommended motor a 4025-1100 is a 100Amp motor. If you want a bullet proof setup then get the 100LV for a 6S setup.

If you never go stick banging and fly nice and smooth then the 80amps might be enough. Why take that chance though?

                      80hv jive

                      Hi Vinny

I promise you the 80 is more than fine. If you damage an 80 from over current then ill replace it with a 100.

You won't damage it as the controller will look after itself. The ESC could over-current shutdown or it could thermal shutdown; which is fine, you just auto the model down and then reset the ESC. With the oppotunity to fit a better suited ESC before the build begins then why not?

Add a heatsink and it then becomes 160amp, 80hv is well enough, especially being Kontroniks.
