    Two rather different ESCs.

Power Jazz was the top of the Jazz software line and went up to 15S, Jive based on different software and up to 12S.

Very different construction, Power Jazz had a fan mounted on top.

        Personally I'd say 'no'.

The Power Jazz doesn't have the protection of the Jive software, you used to see reports of the Power Jazz burning in situations where the Jive would just shut down.

Also the Power Jazz does not have a BEC.

Can't comment on the Gov performance from personal experience, but old reviews seemed to like it.

Can't say I'd want to use something that was discontinued over two years ago though.

I have one that I have been using in a Trex 600E CF FBL that I was going to go to 12s. However, the soft start isn't very soft. You have to be careful spooling up or you might strip the gears. I did with several slant gears. Other than that, they are good value for money. Another that you could think about is the Fusion HawK 120hv :- Fusion Hawk 120A HV Opto Brushless Speed Controller
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

I've got the heli drive version (before they renamed it YEP) & the soft start is great, well worth getting the programming card with it as its so simple to setup once connected ;-)

Using it on my logo 600

IIRC The esc side had the female bullets on already, just needed to solder my battery EC5 on
