is it bad for the esc to run it on a lower percentage, today i was running my idle up1 at 60%,jive 120 hv,after a 5 minute flight my packs were coming back with 62% left in them,i upped my flight time to 6.30 and my packs were coming back with 48% in them, the heli had oodles of power for me and for my level of skill was fast enough and quite enjoyable
i guess im looking to up my flight times by another min or 1.30 to achieve more stick time but if its bad to run i dont want to do it
    cheers vinny

When i ran my heli jive 120 at 66% throttle on my E7 14 tooth pinion, i would get cut outs in flight with a flashing light meaning over current draw with immediate shutdown, i changed my pinion to 13 tooth and upped my throttle curve to 83% and have had no cut outs since, something to keep in mind maybe.

Depends on motor, pinion, gear ration etc to determine if you will have a problem.

You will be fine if you have already run it and had no problems, I have run down to 45% regulary with no issues before on my Logo. If your unsure you can always drop a pinion size and up you curve but I'd leave it tbh.

This refers to the power jive, I not run a helijive so don't know how they are affected.

ive run it at 60% for quite a few flights now with no issues,it has been rather gentle flying though but everytime i put it up i get a little bit more adventurous,i will keep an eye on it
          thanks
