Align 600m problem

Hi, my 600m motor on my 550 started to be sticking rather than moving nice a smooth its would feel very clunky, this would go off and on, but it started to effect how the heli flew so i have now replaced the bearings on the motor and still nothing has changed. The motor is now also vibrating a lot and the 3gx is picking it up and it flys horrible. Dose anyone know what could be causing this. Thanks.

Was the main shaft worn where the bearings were, I believe that can be an issue?

Hi, the shaft looked fine it was not worn and had no noticeable damage.

Did you replace both bearings? Your first post says bearing, so im just trying to be sure. The Stator bearing is very small so tends to be the one that goes. The can might be out of balance giving you high vibs.

Hi, yes i have replaced both the bearing. I will fix the first post did not notice the mistake thanks.

Sorry to hear that. I had the same problem and replaced the bearings and all appears well (spool up in the garden, no flying yet). Are you sure that the motor is put pack together properly with the grubscrews in the right place etc? May be worth taking it apart again and seeing where the free play is coming from.

Are any wires burnt or bad connections. Any magnets broken of the can. Does the motor make a whine noise when it sticks.
