Help with Quantum 4125-560

I've got a bit of a problem.
I've cut down the shaft of my Quantum 4125 by 2 mm too much.
So I thought I would take the old shaft out and see if I can get a replacement shaft.
So here lies the problems.
1/ I can't get the old shaft out.
2/ I can't find where I might find a new shaft.
3/ I've tried to put it all back together and can't get the retaining clip to go on the shaft over the washer and shim.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've not tried that yet Panosg,as I was hoping I might find a shop that sells spares but I can't,even the distributor Fast Lads don't stock anything for that particular motor.
