Check it out this is defo the most powerful motor for your 450 heli just look at the specs 725+w of continious power!!!!! With max power of 1200+w!!!! WTF compared to the align motors rated at 400w (450m) and 500w (450mx), its insane and i recon you could fly with like 15 degrees of pitch without bogging!!!!! Would love to try one out Cant wait until they will enter the uk, but i rekon it will be expensive!!! Just amazing

3500kv is the speed, not the max torque as far as im aware.

So going by the numbers this will produce twice as much torque as the align motor.

Hi lynx as delardo said he is right the kx rating doesnt dictate the power of the motor it only tells you the speed at which it will spin!! (the higher the kv the faster the motor will spin) The power is down to the watt ratings eg, the align 450m has 400w, align 450mx has 500w, spin motor has 485w and this motor has 725+w of continious. Hope this helps you to understand!!!

What that translates to me is that I can run a pinion twice the size and have a 9,000,000 rpm head speed on my crappy clone, just for a laugh and hope it doesnt explode!

Hahaha tht would be crazy bet the batt would last about 2 seconds!!!! The only problem with these very powerful motors is they are very hungry and not last vey long on the lipo So i wouldnt want to sacrifice anymore flight time, currently on my 450pro fbl i get 3mins of 3d!!!!

Aha, I got ya guys. Thing is the Scorp 2221-6 is power hungry, only get 3 mins out of it on my lipos. This motor would last even less! Who's going to try one?

As I understand it, these KDE (Castle Creations) motors are very efficient compared to a scorpion or Align. Someone at our field has the 700 size one in a 700e and batters it for 5 minutes and it doesn't get anywhere near as hot as a scorpion.

Thats what i was thinking, prob best running it on a lower tooth pinion on 4s But im happy enough with my 3s setup with the spin motor
