Turnigy Helidrive SK3 Competition Series Motor

I'm looking for a motor to try in a MA Furion 6 that I have just bought and have been looking at these motors.

Radio Control Planes, Helicopters, Cars, Boats, FPV and Quadcopters - Hobbyking*

Dimensions state that their diameter is 49mm but is this taken from the end of the bell or the outer finned part.
I have exactally 51.5mm to play with between the Furions frames and was wondering if anyone who is using one can confirm the maximum diameter at the motors widest point.
Looks like the 600 and 700 motors are all supposed to be the same size.

Hi I'm running the SK3 560 kv and it's the same dimensions as the 500 kv.

Mine measures 52mm diameter at the widest point so don't think it'll go.

Yeah good plan I think.
Just fancied trying one out really as I have not yet sorted a motor out.
Going to go 12S I think so best get looking around a bit more.

I've tried the SK3's and personally had really good results with them, had them in a Logo 600SE and a 700 DFC. They were as powerful as the Scorpions they replaced and came down cool to the touch after a flight compared the Scorpions that you couldn't even touch!! Not much help if they don't fit though of course.

Yep some axle grease from the shed and a shoe horn may do it Don
