Hi all I have a quantum 4530 450 in my new goblin 770 and wondered if any one was using the same motor. If so I am using the scorpion 160 esc and currently 12s on 10.75 ratio / 20 tooth. I was trying 1900 on the head it was very sad no power and at 1700 bogged easily. So what timing should this motor have I set it to 5 degree as per my other scorpions but its gutless it holds rpm but as soon as I load the head it drops head speed like the pack are flat ?? I tried 14 s on it and it was a lot better hardy bogged at all but it should not be this bad on 12s opti packs ??

That setup is geared for 14s and no headroom for 12. Prob need a 22t pinion to give you your 1900 and room for gov to work.
