I think yor going to struggle charging 8x 6S 5000's tbh Safely
Even at 1C your going to be pulling some serious amps

You could charge at .75C , it will just take longer

I charge 8x packs at 1c everytime I charge as you already know Mark.

I regularly check everything with an infrared heat gun for temps. No issues here at 1c.
