How to Charge Trex150 Lipos with the PL8 ?

This may have already been covered but i cannot find an answer...(PL8 newby at the mo!)

What do i need to connect up and charge the Trex150 Lipos (2s with balance conns only) with the PL8? i already had a collection of alternate '40A Safe Para boards' so at the moment i dont have the FMA MPA board.

You need this Quantum Parallel 6 X JST-XH 2S Charge/Bal. Cable For Trex 150 Q-CL-0040

This will allow you to charge from 1 to 6 batteries up at a time.

i will have to order one if these banana cables.
Do i use the Lipo 1s/2s small unbalanced preset for this charge?
also i think a 'Y' or a 'tick' has to be in place for the Banana cable question?

I used the preset number 1 the accurate charge for my small batteries @ 1C/2C.

Ok i will try the #1 preset next time i charge the 150 packs.
The other item was; i have now read that at some stage the PL8 ask's if your using a banana cable and if using the the Pl8 buttons you would answer Yes or No, if connected to a Pc using the CCS feature, you can remove the tick from the box to disable the PL8 asking about the cable, i think the criteria is not to disable this function if at any time you might use the Banana cable's for charging.

I have a PL6 & have the FMA MPA board. My batteries from my Trex 150 fit straight on the board , can I charge through the jst-xh ( balance lead ) , I hear some charges will do this ,Thanks for any help. Kd

I guess just the pl8 can charge thru the balance cable up to 3amps
