  • PL6 bad cell count error

    Hi all,

I'm having some challenges with a PL6 (I'm a newbie to PL6, previously owned an icharger). I've successfully charged 6S and 2S LIPOs, but when I put in my paraboard for 3S LIPOs, I get the following error message "Bad cell count, Node wiring FMA".

Am I doing something dumb, or do I have a problem?

    TIA.
    Tom

The type of board needs changing Tom, enter the setup by pressing the two buttons on the left cycle through the settings and change the setting for baord type to XH

Thanks! - that worked! But why did it work for 6S and 2S ?? Do I need to keep changing the board type for the different battery sizes ?? ( I hope not! )

Not sure Tom it all depends on the type of board and how the cable between the board is wired, have a look at the user guide I think it explains it at the end of it.

Sorry just read your answer again, no you shouldn't need to as it's the board and not the pack, try the 6S ones on the setting you have now
