    pl6 single pack charge with mpa board

    Hey one and all

    just a quick one for you !!!! Is it possible to charge a single pack using the mpa balance board ? Because i have one pack with a cell seriously out of whack with the others, buy this i mean its charging up to 4.29v which in my book means accident waiting to happen but this only happens when i use my old charger which is why i have invested in a new pl6 complete with new psu from coolice.

    So i am hoping the pl6 sorts it out because its a new pack.

    Yes fine...old chargers/bad connections can give probs,see how it goes on the pl6

      I had an Overlander 80w which I am convinced corrupted my 5000mAh 6S packs. Now each charge with my PL8 (single pack at a time) seems to be slowly sorting them out.

          PL8 has recovered me a few packs from the death (don't ask)

          As quoted stick them on as a single pack, The PL8/PL6 takes care of the rest.

            Yeah it should sort it out...

            Put it on charge as a single pack 1c charge.. it should balance it up.. use the pack on a gentle flight.. take it down to 30% and recharge again. Repeat 2 times and the pack should be all good (asif nothing had happened).
