Charging optipower 6s batts

Hi guys,

Just bought 2 x 6s 5000mah optipower packs for my 700, however when i try to charge them, both come up with a connection break error? the charger I'm using is a bantam bc6. Are these batts designed to be charged with the cell pro line of chargers or does it sound like there is something wrong with them?

Not knowing that charger but have you connected the wires that create the split pack. Where the main discharge leads and balance leads comes out there are 2 short wires, are these connected?

They will work on any 6s capable charger

If it isn't the split pack connector then sounds like you may have only connected the balance wires and forgotten the main discharge wires.

Check the manual for your charger, but that is probably the cause.

I ordered a shit load of packs at the start of the year and was checking them all as I do when buying new packs and every 6s pack was showing as 4 or 5 cell cant remember which and I remember thinking they cant all be ****ed. so I carry checking and I did buy a good fair few

Was not till I realised that I had not connected the same lead as you that I realised what the heck was going on. Lucky as I was just ready to send an email to say all my packs were faulty on arrival. Imagine how that would have gone down hahahahahaha.

All been there only some worse than others

Had kept that relatively quiet until now hahahaha
