  • Opti-power pack weights?

    Hi,

Might be being incredibly thick (has been known to happen) but can't see published weights anywhere for specific opti-power packs.

I'm specifically interested in the weights of the 2700, 3000 and 3500 6s packs.

    Hi,

The weights and sizes of the Optipower Packs can be found here: http://www.optifuel.co.uk/public/80c...94613620ec.pdf

    Hope this helps
    Thanks!

        Is that still accurate though?

Weights and sizes of the production packs are not all the same as the pre-production information linked there.

Not sure if it affected them all, but the 6S 5000 packs came up smaller and lighter.

I also think the 3000 is smaller and again lighter too.

Lol... So any plans by opti-power to provide us with up to date and accurate retail weights/dimensions?

Send a pm to Avroboy and ask Andy to confirm if they are still correct

                Guys

There are some slight changes in sizes and weights on the final packs I will post a revised list on the website. All changes are positive i.e. lighter and or smaller and this affects about 6 cells from memory.

Great, thanks... I'll probably end up going with a couple of 3000mah 6S packs if they aren't any heavier or bigger than current specs then.

Revised size for the 3000 packs are 145x49x40 and 475g

I got some for my 500 and they balance the Heli spot on.

Quick pic. Very very slightly bigger than a 2650 hk jobbie!

                        Ah brilliant, cheers ben.

Don't suppose you have some 3500's knocking around lol... wondering what I could get away with if I stretch the Protos. Thought it would be 3000mah but seeing the size there against the 2650, maybe I could even squeeze the 3500 in.

Well ain't that interesting.... I think the 3500's might work with a stretched protos. I need to find something to carve a block of those dimensions to be sure it all goes under the canopy, don't think the weight should be an issue as long as the stretch kit is fitted.

                              Cheers!
