Optipower BEC Guard - connections

Just got a couple of these and when initially connected it up couldn't get it to work.

The lead with the plug in the end obviously goes to the BEC output but there are no markings on the unit to show which way up the plug to the FBL unit goes.
I logically plugged in the lead with the +,- and signal mirroring each other but no go.

Not tried the other unit until I know for sure.

Any one got theirs working yet?

All sorted.
The lead coming from the BEC guard goes to the FBL unit and not the other way around.
Thought it was too easy.

I hoped that I could have just put unplugged the cable going into the Kosmik and just plug the BEC guard in.

I will now have to cut off the plugs on the two Kosmik BEC cables and fit sockets instead (or fit sockets to the BEC Guard lead) and make up a pair of short plug to plug leads.

Is your original lead that you plugged into your FBL a male plug? if so just unplug from FBL unit and connect to BEC Guard and the fixed lead on the BEC Guard plug into FBL unit

I need to have the BEC Guards fitted at the Kosmik end due to space so can't do this.

Only other suggestion is to buy 2 servo extension leads the length you need and coil up the bec leads...

That sounds like an idea,I've got some somewhere.

At the moment I've fitted the units and it doesn't actually cure the V Bar initialisation problem.
So back to the drawing board.
