I have an OPTIPOWER LIPO CELL 2150 2S which I am using the 20awg through a gryphon regulator for the rx, HV servos and a beastx all running 7.4v. I am looking to power some LED's and landing gear for a scale application and wonder if it is safe to hook up the JR connector from the same lipo. I still need to confirm current draw of the LED's and retracts, this is more about feasibility of using the one lipo which seems a reasonable approach.

Personal choice of course, but I'd always want a separate power source for retract servos.
They are the part most likely to stall or fail and end up pulling more current than they should so I'd personally be happier knowing they couldn't bring down the rest of my electronics with them.

That is something I never fully considered and may indeed be a game changer.Originally posted by Mark_T View PostPersonal choice of course, but I'd always want a separate power source for retract servos.
