I have been flying electric for ages now, and originally went with Flightpower of cheapo Turnigy's but got fed up of the fail rate, so about 18 months ago moved onto Optipowers as they had good reviews, were reasonably priced, but offered better than reasonable performance.
Last week I had my first failure of a pack.
It was a 6S pack that was new in February of this year and had 32 cycles on it.
Cell 1 had obviously died (during the charging process I believe)
I contacted Andrew Hinton-Lever of Optipower, first through FB, then at his suggestion direct via email with the problem.
That was Saturday late (midnight)
Sunday morning I had an email with the RMA documents (already filled in with the details) attached and posted the offending battery off on Monday 2nd Class.
Wednesday morning a brand new replacement pack arrived at my door.
This has got to be one of the best Customer Services I have ever received, absolutely outstanding.
I would publicly like to thank Andrew and his company, they have more than earned my brand loyalty
