Brand new 6s 4300mah 30c

I have got a little Query that i am hoping someone can shine a light on for me !!!!!

i Have got a brand new optipower 6s 4300mah 30c pack which has never even seen a charge of any description (straight out of the original box) just connected it up to my fusion smartguard battery checker and its saying cells 1,3,4,5,,6 are all 3.8v per cell but cell 2 is saying 0.0 ?????? what the ?

Is this normal or is cell 2 buggered ? do i need to return it ? any help on this matter will be really appreciated + i also have another pack which i bought at the same time and have checked that and cells 1,2,3,4,5,6 all say 3.8v which by my understanding is about normal for storage, straight from factory etc.

If you have two lipos and one is reading fine and one is missing a cell.. it sounds like broken wiring inside the pack as even a dead cell reads some voltage? Either way give them a ring and send it back.. clearly a duff pack.

And yeah 3.85v is what i store charge my lipos at..

just connected it to my charger so that the charger can read the packs cell voltages and the charger is not picking up the voltages at all just keeps searching for voltages and nothing comes up and does not connect ????? looking like there could be a fault with the pack somewhere.
