Lol.. Was going to post earlier that they will probably arrive any day soon.

When using the cheaper postal methods from HK, tracking barely gets updated; then it just turns up.

Had the same on my 700e (EMS shipping) Parcel Force deliver it?

          Sounds pretty normal to me.

Cool, what packs did you get. Just stuck some 4000s on mine to see what flight times I can get.

I buy from HK and expect things to be cheap and of variable quality. Often very good but not always. I recently bought a cheap laptop battery from a uk site only to receive a gift from Singapore a while later. It works ok though.

On the technical side if a company blames you for a fault I can help. I'm a retired graduate electronic engineer. Just ask the company for a full technical report on why they think there is a problem with your equipment, tell them you need it for an engineer that you can consult free of charge. I have lots of time and no connections with any company, so I can report what I find. Just pm me and I can send my email.

If a company wants me to look at an issue with a certain type of charger I can do that as well. There probably are chargers in use that do not work correctly and some lipos may well fail whereas others could be ok.

I would like to know the exact mechanism by which PL8s damage certain lipos. If there is a problem it can probably be overcome by changing the way the charger is used.

I'd also like to know what current waveforms look like from various chargers. Do they look like DC or are we talking about lots of different waveforms with varying risetimes, pulse width and frequency?

This can be very helpful as I got loads of packs that are puffed or just plain ******* thats my or my equipments fault apparently but thats for another thread

Hopefully with service lik this they will go to the wall and well deserved IMHO.
My own experience is as follows. I'd used flightpower lipo's before, when they were available 'in the shops' and I've also ordered on-line. I've always been happy with the product itself. Like many others I'd found delivery slow and updates poor with the new model but things did show up - except for my last order....

On this occasion, I ordered, paid my money via TTTMoneycorp and waited, and waited, and waited. My account has been showing 'Goods Selected for Shipment' since 1st May 2012 and still is. Despite sending many emails, including to Julian, I have not to this day received a single response or update. In the end I had to file it with my credit card company - something that in over 30 years of having a credit card I have never done before. What a massive embarrassment.

Now, granted, there may be reasons why this situation has occurred, but from the perspective of me, the buyer, my money was taken, at which point all communication stopped, my goods were never supplied and no explanation given.

Draw you're own conclusions, but I hope this helps others make more informed choices.

For what it's worth, I won't even bother using my 45C flight power nano packs in my eurofighter, the gens ace 25C beat the living snot out of them in terms of performance, both peak and sustained and come down much cooler.

The flight powers also don't discharge equally in series.
