The one thing you can guarantee is that with UK full retail prices you will always get hit for VAT.

Been looking at the 4000mah40c offerings for my 700, if the weight u state on the Webb is correct then this is a massive weight save on 12s and if I go kontronik so save weight over what I am using now by running lipo and reg set up. So saving around 700 to 750 grms. Basically saving the weight of 1 battery in its current form.

Just an update email said posted on 15th tracking has only just started to show anything and says item posted on 17th so two days later than stated,maybe this new info is incorrect but I have updated progress anyway.

It would be nice if PayPal was an option... That removes any problem with invoice address vs shipping address and can be quite convenient.

I will probably be putting in an order soon, but I may well have the same issue using a UK card with a French delivery address I assume.

The card system is separate from the delivery so this will not normally be any issue. We have found that it is impossible to hold large balances with PayPal without triggering a "review". That translates to locking down money intended for processing customer orders. While PayPal is great for one-off and small transactions, for a volume transactions we believe PayPal poses too great a risk. We will offer a PayPal alternative on the rare occasion that a customer gets really stuck with normal card processing.

If it helps Chris, here is the time-line for my most recent order.

Goods released from factory on 7th, tracking info added on the 8th.
Tracking started giving updates on 13th (3 working days later), package left Hong Kong on 14th and was delivered to my door yesterday the 16th.

Very smooth process and 7 working days from start to finish is pretty good I'd say.

I went for the cheapest option so the onward progress from Hong Kong may be a bit slower but as it stands so far it kinda ties in with yours.

Mine was also just the cheapest Hong Kong Post option.

Once tracking shows it has left Hong Kong the main variable will be UK Custms.

You won't see another tracking update though, the packs will just arrive.

I wasn't actually expecting mine to arrive until Monday, so they must have cleared Customs extremely quickly this time.
