Just wondering if the 600MX is any good? Will it have enough power? I only do sport and learning 3D so I think it would be fine?

    Any problems with heat etc?

    Cheers!

I fly the 600mx 1220kv on my 600ESP and as the 600mx 520kv is default on the Align 600's I'd say it does its job quite well

Harry, you have no problem with the 600Mx, an excellent motor. I thought you were using the Scorpion though

If you're using the Mx on the Fusion what headspeed are you looking to use. As you might need the 14 for 2150 on the head in CC governor mode.

Was going to use the scorpion but the shaft was too short to reach the pinion support. Don't fancy using 700 power with the fusion gears without the support lol

So did you decide to get the 600mx?

My plan was to go 12s with my Fusion using a 700m motor because I already have the motor. But I just tested a different timing setting in the Castle Ice with the 4025 / 1100 motor and it's pretty close now so I am undecided as yet.

I recently got a 600mx for my Hirobo SDX conversion though, 'just need to make some time to put it all back together and figure out where the ESC is going to fit. If that works really well it might make the Fusion redundant anyway (although I will say, the Fusion won't be easy to beat, it flies very nicely).

I use the 600MX 1220Kv motor in my 550, the only complaint I have is that the bearings are a real pain to get out, in fact I've not managed to get them out yet as there's not enough space on the inner race to push the bearing out. Whereas the scorpion motors at least seem to have been designed with bearing changes in mind, and only take 15 mins
