Looks visually the same, but must be designed to run cooler than the original.

hmm do I hear you complaining about flightime already? :P

edit: just saw it uses the same 530kv ... so not an issue ...

Assuming you use 5000mAh packs and running it at its continuous rating you will get 3 minutes with this motor as opposed to 3:20 with the 700MX.

        Hey Sev.

Lol, I'm always complaining of low flight times. I just crack that new manouver then have to land :-(
Mind you its the best 4:20 seconds I have, all other good things last even less time ;-(

Yeah its the same Kv as the MX motor I'm running now, so flight time shouldn't be effected to much. I am sure Duncan will have one soon, so I'll be keen to see it go.
Got my eyes on the new Align brushless servos just released now :-) so much good stuff from Align and to top it all a new 700E to, which sounds interesting.

I squeeze 4:20 out of my current 700MX 530kv, depending on how hard I've flown I get left with 20-38% left in my Opti-Power 5000's.

damn, looks like you have read the complete specs already ... good to know to have that knowledge available Andy when needed

@Ian: just stop the fancy moves .. I easily get 5:00+ with 35% left in the pack 5000mah, hardcore hovering ... 6:00 and 45% left on my 500, 2650mah

              Ian

have you heard anything from your sources about a new 700E or are you going on the Freak vague info filtering thru from Assurance RC?

Designed to take on all the latest crop of 700 size electrics like the Goblin etc, that`ll take some beating IMHO but will be interesting.
