I spent some time looking at alternatives for my PL8, I charge indoors in the winter to keep lipo's warm I went for one of these after speaking to Chris Dorling at Electriflyer.
it is significantly quieter than converted server power supplies (you need to mod 2 to get 24 volt).
I have access to a generator for field charging it works fine parallel charging 6x 6cell 4000 at 1c most I have tried yet!

Looks almost identical to the Chargery S1200, but cheaper!

Hi all, just wanted to confirm that the Junsi S1200 power supply is, as far as I'm aware, the same power supply as the Chargery unit, just a different colour case.

            Thanks.
If I am correct, I can only pull 30A max from one set of terminals, so I would need to make up a paralell lead going into a single EC5 connector to feed the PL8 at the PSUs max current of 50A?

The latest version of s1200 now allows you to pull the full 50A from one set of terminals. The power supply now has all terminals connected in parallel, internally

Are the sockets/connectors rated for this?

Yes, I'm certain the sockets are ratedd. If you'd like any further info regarding the power supply, please feel free to give me call, I'm always happy to help where I can.
