Here is some info on the plugs used for balance on the different makes of chargers and packs. not complete. If anyone has the details of the hyperion and thunder power plugs then post and I will edit this.
Maybe this can be a sticky?
Align/Equinox
Plug Housing JST XH - 2.5mm spacing
Plug Crimp SXH001T-P0.6
XHP-3 (2 cell)
XHP-4 (3 cell)
XHP-5 (4 cell)
Matching Socket - BnB-XH-A where n matches the plug no of conductors
This is actually the standard through most of europe but not the states where a lot of UK stuff comes from. e.g. all lipos sold in Germany use the XH connector and are all interchangeable. Nearly all the lipos from china use this XH, eg maxpoly, align, xtreme power (rc expert brand). Somehow they didn't think to use a 5 way housing for 2-4 cell packs and miss some wires out.
FMA/Cellpro
2mm pitch with locking tab.
Plug Housing JST PAP-5VS
Plug Crimp SPHD-001T-P0.5
Matching socket JST B5B-PASK
Cellpro use the same 5 way plug for 2-4 cells and the space next to the +ve is left empty for reducing number of cells. pin 1 is -ve, pin 5 is positive.
Hyperion/Apache
2.5 mm spacing plug with locking tab - manufacturer unknown, part numbers unknown.
2 to 4 cell packs use the same 5 way plug housing.
I cut down the plugs on some hyperion type connectors and moved the crimps around to make them fit into an align type 3 cell socket. This was quite successful as the shape of the plug works to prevent wrong plug up in the align socket. Of course its a bit risky while the crimps are not safwe in the housing so do it at your own risk and only if you know what you are doing and inside a concrete bunker just in case.
Thunder power
Details unknown, but housing is different depending on cell count.
