  • Ripmax Pro Peak PSU

    Hi all,

I currently have a ripmax pro peak PSU and a turnigy 6S charger which is adequate for my current needs. Eventually, I will convert my fusion to a 600 12S FBL setup so will acquire a used cellpro when the time comes. Will the pro peak PSU have enough juice to charge a 12S Lipo at 1C?

Off the top of my head it is 20A 12V which is 240W.

    Thanks,

    Harry

I thought 12S machines only used 3000-4000mAh packs though? Or am I wrong on that? lol

Think most people are using 5000 packs on their 12S setups, I know I am so that I get a reasonable flight time, but this is on a X7 and Rave, the 600 class will use the lower capacity packs.

The PSU you have will be maxed charging either at 1C, I've got these, the top one is running a voltz charger the bottom I use on my Fusion 712B. I can do 1C on the voltz @ 10A and 0.9C on the bottom with both channels charging.

If its the same psu as I had 12v(in reality 13.8ish v) 20 amp, dual out put ,you will be able to charge at 1 c, I used to charge two 6s 5000 (packs (turnigy) on a cell pro 10s and a bantam bc 6/10, it used to pull about 17 amp but strangely when I put a pl8 on it only pulls about 13/14 amp
