  • Power Supply 20Amps or so? Propeak or Icharger?

I'm looking at getting a bigger power supply as I'm now charging 4 batteries at a time. 20 amps is enough and I want a switched mode supply so its cool and not too noisy. I want something that will be reliable. There are three I've seen and I'd like any comments.

There's Propeak that I've used with no problems for chargers.

      Hi

I'm using the PRO PEAK one with a pl6 charging 4 x 3s 2200mha at 2c. Works fine for me with no excessive heat or noise. I will be upgrading soon to a 24v power supply when I get more parallel boards.

I think ShaggyRS6 has one of these for sale in the for sale section.

I've got one of these Revolectrix 13.8V 28A Power Supply KPS280A Can't fault it, it's small enough to not be too bulky, about the size of a car radio, and has a 13.8V @ 28A output, which according to my charger stops constant during charging.

It's also quiet under load, and I'm charging 6S @ 10Amp so pulling 20A+ out of it and it doesn't seem to get that much noisier.
