  • Where to buy series cable to hook up 2 batteries?

    Morning!
As above... can anyone please tell me where to get a cable/wire to hook up 2 3s batteries as I'm planning on using my 450 pro batteries (to start me off) paired up for a trex 500 I'm about to get.
My present batteries are Turnigy 3s 2200 40-50c using XT60 connectors.

    Thanks

You want an XT60 Series Harness

Make sure the packs are of the same age/cycle use. I done the same thing a few years ago with the same packs but different age, and the 500 killed them.

Very easy to make one yourself if you can solder though.

go down to CEF or maplin or local model shop ask for a sample of wire 2.5mm or 4mm multi strand
          that will save money

2.5mm has 651, and the 4mm has 1,036 strands! The silicone insulation withstands 356 degrees F.

Hmm - doesn't look too hard to do. But I'll need to get some proper gauge wires I suppose.

Thanks for the links. I just didn't know what they're called to do a search

My packs are around the same cycles. Hopefully will be ok until I get enough disposable cash to get some Optipower
