Inwoods / McNair Batteries

Hi all,

Ordered a replacement TX battery for my 9x as it was starting to lose power quickly, ordered a JR 1500mah Nimh from Inwoods, unit arrived today but was branded as a McNair 1500mah Nimh and in a rather scuffed up state. Put the battery in my TX hoping to see what the pack voltage was before charging and it was totally flat, not even a glimmer. Have placed the unit on charge but a little worried it could be a knackered pack as Nimh's are not meant to be stored flat?

Anyone else had or used McNair packs and shed any light on quality? Have emailed Inwoods and will await response.

Hopefully, yes. I don't like it when you order a product and the one that arrives is not as described. I deliberately ordered from Inwoods as they had the JR branded battery in stock. I recently had a Spektrum AR7000 from them and that was pristine at the right price also, hoping this was just a glitch or someone sent the wrong part by mistake. Will await email from them to clarify.

Personally, if you did not get what you ordered, I would send it back unless you are convinced that what you got is equivalent or better.

Oh, and don't wait for an email - call them. Whilst they are pretty good at answering emails, they may not be as quick as you might want.

Pretty sure my 9x came from Probuild brand new with a McNair 1500mah. It has been fine. Must be close to a year old now.
