  • Charge + Flying Time Dropping

looking for a bit of advice...

been flying my 450 clone now for just over 12 months & been getting well over 6 Min's +

BUT just before Xmas i noticed that my head speed is dropping after only a few Min's. prob 4 Min's tops. and also my on-board batt checker is bleeping

when charging them back up ive noticed the times & what its putting back into them are also dropping. its gone from 60 Min's charge & about 1800mah to around 40 Min's charge & 1300mah...

all 3 battery's have had around 40 cycles each...

I have also tried a Brand New battery that my dad bought for his 450 pro to see if it was my battery's at fault & only got around the same 4 Min's out of it before the on-board checker started to bleep & head started to slow down.

has anyone ever had this problem
    thanks BaRoN.

i'd say the packs are tired and on their way out, most likely time to look for some new ones

are you keeping the packs warm when you go flying as cold packs will set off the low voltage alarm. cold weather is quite harsh on lipo performace

the packs are kept & charged & stored indoors at room temp until i go flying. cant keep them warm whilst at the field tho..

Must say temp plays a big part in lipo performance, a couple of weeks ago I took my 600e out and it was awfull the headspeed dropped off real quick and after 3 or so minutes was becoming hard to fly.
I took it out weekend just gone and kept a lipo in my jacket to see if it made any difference, you'd be amazed.

I need to buy some cozy toes for my Lipo's.
